Plamondon Minor Hockey Association will be having their hockey registration noghts mOnday and Tuesday, August 30 and 31 from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Plamondon Arena
The Lac La Biche and Area Drug Coalition will be hosting an open strategic planning session on Thursday May 10, 2012 at 7:00pm in the tea room on the first floor of the McArthur Building. Refreshments and snacks will be provided for all of our guests. There will be a panel present to address concerns related to alcohol and drug issues within our community and to receive feedback, suggestions and ideas for future concerns within the Lac La Biche region. There will also be information and resources available from various organizations within the community. We hope to see you there!

Big Dog’s 5th Annual Spring Clean Up in cooperation with Lac La Biche Kinsmen, Sobeys, Grizzly’s Disposal, Acklands Grainger, Old trail Country, and Lac La Biche County’s Clean Sweep program, is coming up May 5th! Everyone - this includes you - will be meeting at Kinsmen hall by 9:00am, to get swanky t-shirts and decide which areas we will be cleaning! Once we’ve all worked up a good hunger and thirst Say 12:30 there’ll be a barbeque with food and refreshments, and a door prize! You can register your community organization ahead at Big Dog by calling 623-3744. Big Dog’s 5th Annual Spring Clean Up is May 5th, Starting at 9 am! Do your part to help keep Lac La Biche beautiful! Join the Rotary Club of Lac La Biche for a BEER EXPERIENCE on May 12, 2012 at McArthur Place from 8:00pm to midnight. We will be featuring numerous samples of beers from around the world. “Pub Grub” will also be available for purchase. Advance tickets are $10 (includes a small mug and one sampling ticket) and can be purchased from The Liquor Stop, Chamber of Commerce office or any Rotarian. Beer sampling tickets and food tickets will be sold at the function. $10 will buy 5 tickets or $20 will buy 12 tickets.

On Saturday May 12, 2012 the Plamondon District Community Development Society & the Plamondon and District Ag Society will be holding our first annual community garage sale and farmers market at the Plamondon Festival Centre. The garage sale will be held from 9:00 am.- 6:00 pm. While the farmers market will be open from 10:00 am.- 4:30 pm. Registration fee's are as follows; $10.00 per table for non-business owners and $15.00 per table for business owners.
